Across the UK, Fruit growers from across the region gathered last week to see the latest innovations in fruit-growing machinery, hosted by Kirkland UK. The event brought together state-of-the-art technology, and experienced agricultural professionals.

Kirkland took their roadshow north to Scotland, where they were generously hosted by East Scryne Fruit Farm, before heading south to Hereford, with the second event held at Haygrove, Ledbury.

The highlight of the demo day was the live demonstration of BURRO – an autonomous transport solution designed specifically for fruit growers. This innovative machine captured significant interest among visitors for its potential to boost efficiency and reduce labour costs.Also drawing attention was the

RootWave – a chemical-free weeding solution that offers an environmentally friendly alternative for growers seeking sustainable farm management practices.“
