Airside Supervisor, David Salt is pleased with its power and ease of operation “Our AC Tractor is primarily used as a light aircraft tug. We had a lifting arm designed and built which the nose wheel of aeroplanes winches on to and is secured in position. Then using the tractors hydraulics system we are able to lift the nose wheel which allows us to manoeuvre aeroplanes. This is our second AC Tractor and having looked at other options on the market there really isn’t anything that could do the job. The tractor has plenty of power, runs well on grass and tarmac and is easy to operate.”
